Welcome to Satya Nutrition Therapy LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website located at www.satyanutrition.com (the "Site"), booking consultations, or purchasing products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Not Medical Advice
- Educational Purpose Only: All content, recipes, blog posts, and recommendations provided on this Site or through our coaching services are for informational and educational purposes only.
- Not a Substitute for Medical Care: The information provided does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition coaching and dietetic guidance are not substitutes for professional medical advice from a licensed physician, psychiatrist, or other qualified healthcare provider.
- Consult a Doctor: Always seek the advice of your physician or qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, dietary change, or before starting any new exercise, supplement, or nutrition program. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or received on this Site.
2. Scope of Services and Disclaimer of Results
- Individual Results Vary: Nutritional coaching and wellness outcomes depend heavily on individual effort, health history, genetics, and adherence to guidance. We do not guarantee specific weight loss, health improvements, or medical outcomes.
- Emergency Situations: If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call emergency services immediately.
3. Not Legal or Immigration Advice
- Guidance Only: My New Mediterranean Life, offered by Satya Nutrition Therapy LLC, provides general relocation guidance and on-the-ground support. It is not legal advice or immigration advice, and we are not attorneys or immigration advisers.
- Confirm Requirements: Visa, residency, and immigration rules change and depend on your individual situation. Please confirm requirements with a qualified attorney or the relevant authorities before making decisions.
4. Booking, Cancellations, and Refunds
- Appointments: Consultations must be scheduled in advance through our designated booking platform.
- Cancellation Policy: You must provide at least 48hrs notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the forfeiture of the session.
- Refunds, Satya Nutrition: Refunds of up to $1,500 are available within the first two weeks of care, on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds, Spain consultation call: The consultation call is refundable if canceled at least 48 hours in advance.
- Refunds, three-call bundle: The bundle is refunded in full if canceled at least 48 hours before the first call. After the first call, $400 can be refunded if requested within 48 hours of the start of the first call. After that, the bundle is non-refundable.
- On-the-ground support package: You may cancel at any time. Once you close out your current installment, no further payments are due.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- All content on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video, recipes, and custom meal templates—is the property of Satya Nutrition Therapy LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- You may view, download, or print material from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or resell any content without our explicit written permission.
6. User Responsibilities and Accuracy of Information
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during your intake process and consultations, including disclosing any known medical conditions, allergies, medications, or dietary restrictions.
- You acknowledge that withholding or misrepresenting health information could adversely affect your safety and the accuracy of any nutritional recommendations.
- Health Information: Health information you share during intake and care is collected through Practice Better, a HIPAA-compliant platform. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Satya Nutrition Therapy LLC, its owner, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits, data, or health complications—arising out of or related to your use of the Site, reliance on any information provided, or participation in our nutrition coaching programs.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina, US, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
