For women moving to Valencia, with support from two weeks before your move until eight weeks after.

Have you ever dreamed of learning a second language alongside your children? Do you wish you could show your family different cultures and ways of life, in hopes of widening their view of the world? Do you want to take a year to see your life through a different lens, take a few deeper breaths, and enjoy a few more moments each day?
A year abroad is still a real move. You'll need a visa, housing, and school registration, and you'll be keeping a life in the States open for your return. It's challenging. But organized and carried out well, it can hold so much meaning and beauty. Even if it's for one year, it can change how you move through your life afterward. I can help with everything above.

I've pictured myself living abroad my whole life. When a friend went to teach English in South Korea, I picked up an application too. When another went to work on a farmstead in Scotland, I started researching how to do the same in Australia. When a friend fell in love with an Englishman and moved to London, I prayed a card like that was in my future.
But I never went. It always seemed more practical to stay and work on the life I was building. As my family grew, the dream felt harder to hold. Was wanting adventure just a way of running from my own life?
Then, in the fall of 2024, we were planning a move closer to my parents for help with the kids, and nothing about it excited me. I had to think bigger. When my husband asked if Europe was in the cards, I took the idea and ran with it. I hesitated, but every step brought me closer to a new life in Spain and further from the one I was leaving. Eventually I had come too far to look back, and we moved to Valencia by the following summer.
Getting here meant selling and renting houses, deciding what to do with cars and belongings, and moving three young children. It meant leaving aging parents we love dearly, and facing big feelings about being away from their grandchildren. On top of that came visas, insurance, changing jobs, and preparing to live in another language. For me, the hardest part was getting here.
Since landing, my world has turned upside down in the best possible way, and I'm so proud of what my family has done. I had a great team helping me, and it made all the difference. I'd love to be part of that team for you.
